Is it possible to visit and explore local islands?
Yes! Dharavandhoo itself is a local island. Guests can hire private boats, use public transport, or join our Island Hopping excursions to explore nearby islands and experience authentic Maldivian culture.
What documents do I need prior to arrival?
IMUGA Traveller Declaration: Online form to be completed within 48 hours prior to arrival.
Confirmed Booking: A confirmed reservation at Island Ufaa Dharavandhoo or another registered tourist facility.
What is your cancellation policy?
Direct bookings enjoy free cancellation up to 10 days prior to arrival. Payments are required 10 days before arrival via bank transfer or payment link. OTA bookings follow their respective policies.
Can I stay on multiple islands during my trip?
Yes, many travelers split their stay across multiple islands. We are happy to assist with transfer arrangements and recommendations.
How can I reach the hotel?
Domestic Flight: Approx. 25 minutes. Scheduled according to international arrivals.

How do we pay for transfers?
Transfer charges are added to your room bill and settled upon checkout.
When should transfers be booked?
We recommend booking transfers at least one week in advance, though we try to accommodate last-minute requests whenever possible.

What do Half Board and Full Board include?
Half Board: Breakfast + Dinner.
Full Board: Breakfast + Lunch + Dinner.
Includes main dish + starter or dessert, water & soft drinks. Premium items are chargeable.
What sockets and internet do you provide?
Universal power sockets with USB-A & USB-C ports. Complimentary Wi-Fi is available throughout the property.
Best season for Whale Sharks and Manta Rays?
Whale sharks are seen year-round. April to October is peak manta season, especially at Hanifaru Bay.
What activities do you offer?
Manta snorkeling, Turtle snorkeling, Dolphin cruises, Sandbank picnics, Fishing trips, Cooking classes, and Local island tours.
How do we book activities?
Activities can be pre-booked or arranged upon arrival. Charges are added to your room bill.
What payment methods are accepted?
Cash (USD/MVR), Credit & Debit Cards (Visa, Mastercard, Amex, UnionPay), and Payment Links. Standard currency is USD.
Is there an ATM on the island?
Yes, an MVR ATM is available. We recommend withdrawing cash at the airport for convenience.
Can I wear a bikini on the island?
Yes, bikinis are permitted only at the designated Bikini Beach, a short walk from the hotel.
Can I consume alcohol?
Alcohol is not allowed on local islands. Resort day trips can be arranged where alcohol is available (chargeable).
